Every Monday (along with several other writers, educators, librarians, etc.) I post something about middle grade literature. Book reviews, interviews, insights, etc. I tend to read more speculative fiction, but realistic fiction sneaks in there from time to time.

Hello…joined WAE and was beamed here. Go figure. My name is DJ Humphrey http://www.DJHumphrey.com. I write and have published a middle grade novel, Jackson’s Raiders. I would love to learn more about this genre and the opportunities that exist for reviews.
Hi DJ,
Well, exploring the blog list above is a start. There are educators, parents, librarians, writers (some published) and all of us review middle grade fiction. You didn’t say whether your book is self-published or not. Unfortunately this makes a difference when it comes to reviews, as I’m sure you’ve realized. But many of the people on the list will review self-published works. I don’t accept books for review, I write about what I’m reading.
The folks above live for MG/YA literature and have helpful links and advice.
Here’s a link to all my Middle Grade Monday posts, the first one discusses “what is middle grade fiction.”
